Style – more than good tasteDelarey Brugman is a 26 year-old sports agent, and has been called SA’s own Jerry McGuire. His legal background and passion for sports led him into the profession, and the opportunity worked out perfectly. As he deals with a lot of sports people, his dress tends to be casual yet professional. He does, however, try to dress in a way that is a reflection of his personality and his work. This personal style would be described as “trend-following with a difference”. Delarey enjoys wearing casual clothing wears shorts, T-shirts and trainers. This look is comfortable and feels a lot more personal when dealing with people in his industry. However, he is partial to designer clothing, with Hugo Boss being his favourite. Hugo Boss fulfils his needs at the moment, with a “little glamour, smoothness and a classic feel”. So what does he think of the comparisons to Jerry Maguire? “I started before Jerry Maguire was released. I lacked the know-how of the title character, but my friends were always there, encouraging me. I did, however, feel inspired by the movie.” Say no more.
